Dear Clay,

HAPPY FREAKING BIRTHDAY TO YOU, OMG WE ARE GETTING OLD, I LOVE YOU.

I’ve said this a thousand times but I will say it again, without a doubt, marrying Clay was the best decision I have ever made. Clay never ceases to amaze me. Just when I think to myself, wow Clay is the most amazing person ever, he does something that levels up. He is by far the most down to earth, genuine, and THE MOST compassionate person I know. When I asked Clay if he was excited about his birthday he said, “Its just another day.” Well thats stupid, because today is the day that my best friend came into the world so it’s worth celebrating! I’ll keep it short so y’all can enjoy the gallery of some of my favorite moments with my favorite person on planet earth.

Clay I love you. You make me smile, laugh, and enjoy life in a way I never thought possible. You are the kindest human being ever. You are Jerrys better half. You have so much drive and passion that motivates me to want to be better. You have sass that rivals mine. You are sooooooooo patient (you make up the difference in my lack of patience). You make everyone around you feel welcome, heard, and important. You have bitchin taste in music and you know how to car jam like a boss. You are the best listener. You are great a cutting potatoes. You give the warmest hugs. You are my coach, partner in crime, hoodrat best friend, and love of my life. Happy Birthday my love.

Clays baby picture literally makes me smile ear to ear. If I lived in a perfect world I would have 50 framed copies of baby Clay’s photo around our house. But Clay says no.

Clay and Jerry are obviously the best of friends.

I love this picture at the beach. Clay and I took a sabbatical today off from adulting, hopped in our car, and drove to the Oregon coast for the day. We spent all day chasing Jerry around the beach, throwing the frisbee, and just having a blast.

I am so lucky that I found you and I am so glad you were born today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
